The Todd Karas Foundation | About Rock The Universe

A transformational weekend.

For more than 25 years, Rock the Universe has been bringing believers together at Universal Studios Orlando Resort to enjoy world renowned attractions, their favorite (chart-topping) Christian artists, performing on multiple stages over multiple evenings. In addition, multiple services provide a variety of opportunities for believers (and their non-believing guests) to experience God in exciting and meaningful ways.

Todd’s first trip to Rock the Universe was when he coordinated a trip for the church’s youth group in 2012. A condition Todd required of the youth, is that they attend at least one concert. They decided as a group to meet at the Lecrae concert.

Always a lover of rap music, Todd was curious to see what Christian rap would be like. Little did he know, his mandate for the youth would create a turning point for himself. The Lecrae performance changed Todd’s life, forever. And he loved sharing his life-changing experience with people!

When Todd returned home from that trip, his secular CD’s went in the trash. He found a new battle weapon and he enthusiastically armed himself with it.

The Todd Karas Foundation Rock the Universe Scholarship

We know we serve a BIG GOD! And we have a lot of BIG ideas! But our initial and flagship focus is on what we believe was most dear to Todd’s heart: enabling youth to experience Rock the Universe. Todd lived for this trip every year. He worked tirelessly with the youth to raise the money necessary to attend and God always blessed them richly! This year, we will award an all-expense paid trip to Rock the Universe at Universal Studios Orlando Resort! We’ve seen firsthand the life-changing impact attending this event can have and are excited to present this opportunity to a deserving recipient(s).
